The Wrecking Crew

I saw a film about "The Wrecking Crew" at the Grammy Museum last night. The Wrecking Crew" is the name given to a loosely-knit group of studio musicians that recorded almost ALL the hit records in L.A. during the '50s and '60s. What a story this film tells! These 20 or 30 musicians' influence on popular music is huge. Unsung, largely unrecognized, they not only played the tracks. In most cases they came up with the arrangements and signature hooks for some of the era's most popular music...all in a day's work. See this movie! :^)
